About Me

Any good skater knows, a centered spin needs a great hook.

Whether I was making improv stop motion I movies with faulty green screens, writing fantasy novels about dogs with superpowers from another planet during second grade recess, or choreographing for friends and getting paid in Starbucks Cards when I was 12. Storytelling has always come naturally to me.  

Through my history of competing I let stories break free of their rules and lines. Transmuting words to edges, jumps, and spins. For the small audiences of Skating Club Of NY or the International Stage while representing the United States of America.

The same way I created a new spin position in Singles Figure Skating, (TheJacobspin) or became known for skating to music no one’s ever thought to skate to.

Originality may not be my middle name but creativity is my game.

“She skated to Van Halen? Why didn’t I think of that?”
